Introduction:
Hemostasis is a process in which bleeding is stopped from wounds. During the process, the wound and bleeding attracts platelets to aggregate and convert into large groups. Then the platelets move to the injured location and gather around the bleeding blood vessel. The platelets cause the blood to thicken and turn from a liquid, to a gel form, then the damaged blood vessel is repaired.
