Introduction:

Synthetic probe is fragment of DNA. to screen a DNA library RNA of variable length approx $100-1000\text{bp}$ used. Probes can be labeled by using radioactive compound to detect the location of the probe. DNA library is a collection of fragments of DNA that can be cloned into a vector. Two kinds of libraries are: genomic DNA and $\text{cDNA}$ libraries.
