Gene therapy is a technique in which person who is suffering from any genetic disease is treated with the help of transfer of a gene or with the help of replacement of the gene, this is called gene therapy, somatic gene therapy is a transfer of genes into the somatic cells of the patient, like cells of bone marrow. Germ-line gene therapy is when DNA is transferred into the cells, which produce reproductive cells, eggs, or sperms.
