The two sequential reactions which occur in the site of the aminoacyl transfer ribonucleic acid (tRNA) synthetase.
Introduction:
In the process of translation, the codon specified by the messenger RNA (mRNA) is made to interact with the cognate tRNA. This interaction occurs because of the base pairing between them. The amino acids are attached to the tRNA by specific enzymes, known as the aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases.
