Introduction:
Phages are viruses that infect bacterial cells. These are classified on the basis of the mechanism of infection and killing of host cells. Those phages that kill the bacterial cells after every cycle are termed as virulent while the phages that kill bacteria after some period of infection are termed as temperate.
