Concept introduction: Different dietary supplements often include vitamins, but they may also have other ingredients, like minerals, botanicals, and herbs. Researches support the beneficial effects of dietary supplements for patients with certain health ailments. In some instances, vitamin supplements may have some unwanted effects, especially if taken prior to surgery, with other medicines. These supplements may also have levels of vitamins a lot higher, and in diverse forms, than one may ingest via through food.
