A brief report on a lipid such as beef tallow, corn oil, lard, oleic acid, or palmitic acid by listing the principal sources and uses of the material is to be stated.
Concept introduction:
The diversified organic molecules that include hormones, fats, oils, and their interaction with water is negligible are called lipids. The fats similarly like glucose produce cellular energy (Adenosine triphosphate) for cellular activities. The fats are stored in the body in adipose tissues. There are some fat-soluble vitamins, which are absorbed by the body only in the presence of fats. The fats synthesize the reproductive system related hormones.
