Introduction:
DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) and RNA (ribonucleic acid) have two types of nitrogenous bases, namely purines and pyrimidines. The former has a 6-membered and a 5-membered ring that contains nitrogen. The later, on the other hand, has only a 6-membered ring containing nitrogen. Adenine and guanine are the purines, and the pyrimidines found are thymine, cytosin, end uracil.
