Introduction:

Glutathione, or GSH, is one of the most common intracellular reducing agents. It is involved in various biological functions, like acting as an endogenous antioxidant molecule, in the synthesis of DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid), andin the protection of cells from xenobiotics. The synthesis of amino acid involves two reactions. In some tissues, an enzyme named γ-glutamyl transpeptidase is formed for facilitating the movement of these amino acids.
