Introduction:

Vegans are individuals who do not eat meat and meat products as well as milk and dairy products. The inability of the body to produce healthy red blood cells (RBCs) because of vitamin B12 deficiency is pernicious anemia. It may also be caused because of the body’s inability to absorb the vitamin. The common symptoms include headache, weakness, chest pain, weight loss, spasticity, memory loss, and peripheral neuropathy.
