Introduction:

C3 plants are the plants that undergo C3 metabolism and convert carbondioxide and ribulose bisphosphate into 3-phosphoglycerate. C4 plants are the plants that undergo C4 metabolism, which extract carbon from carbondioxide to use it in the sugar molecule. These plants grow in temperate regions, and their growth is hampered due to the presence of weeds. Herbicides are chemically produced compounds that do not allow unwanted plants or herbs to grow along with the desired plant. Corn is a C4 plant with economic importance, and weed is a C3 plant grown in temperate regions.
