Acceleration due to gravity, g = 9.8N/kg

Height, h= 5m

Volume at 5m,V2=4.2×106m3

Formula used:

The product of the initial volume and initial pressure is equal to the product of the volume and pressure after a change in one of them under constant temperature. Mathematical expression of this statement is,

  P1V1 = P2V2 

Where,

  P1= initial pressure

  P2= Final pressure

  V1= Initial Volume

  V2= Final Volume

Calculation:

By using the formula, P1V1 = P2V2  , derive the formula of final volume.

  V2 = P1V1P2 

  V2= (Patm+ρwatergh)V1Patm

  (1.01×105Pa+1.00×103kg/m3×9.8N/kg×5m)4.2×106m31.01×105Pa

   = 6.2×106m3

Conclusion:
