Muscle tissues are one of the four types of tissues found in the human body. These are made up of muscle fibers that consist of numerous mitochondria and are cylindrical in shape. Muscle fibers are multinucleated and are constituted by the myofibrils. Muscle fibers receive innervation of a number of nerve terminals.
