State three examples of a static load application and three examples of a dynamic load application.
State three examples of static load application and three examples of dynamic load application.
Explanation of Solution
Static load application:
It indicates a constant loading of building over an extensive time period. Static loads do not generate any blow or shaking on the building. The examples of this load are car parked at a carpark, the weight of building acting on the surface of the ground, and the force acting on a beam.
Dynamic load application:
Dynamic loads acting on the buildings are those that produce a vibration or a blow on the building. Dynamic loads are imposed on the building for a small time interval. The examples of this load are force due to boring of bore holes, weight of a moving car on the road, and weight due to working equipment.
