Expert Solution
Step 1

In the religion of Islam, these two literally meaningful terms are used often, both are overlapped in terms of being synonymous by those who don't have any sound understanding of the theology and other areas. They both are two different entities carrying a separate meanings from each other.

Shari'a is interpreted as rules (divine) that were revealed to the Prophet by Almighty Allah as a medium of guidance to mankind in every walk of his/her life. The system and principles of Shari'a make it a unique constitution of humanity possessing a character of being unchangeable. The area of Shari'a makes it somehow immortal as a revelation from God.

The Islamic world or Islamic institutions have adopted it as a roadmap and a source of discipline for their life and all the other areas of their daily existence. It is a kind of roadmap and a source of training for a life to be disciplined.

The Fiqh on the other hand is a knowledge-based interpretation of Shari'a under the aegis of the Quran and Hadith (What the Prophet of Islam preached ). The human reason takes the above two requirements as a source for the interpretation.

The experts in the Fiqh or Jurisprudence are followed as they are those who interpret the Shari'a by their unflinching determination and research.
