Write a narrative account analysing the key events of the Cold War between 1970 and 1989 including president Reagan and mikhail Gorbachev
The events of World War II had seen the clash of nations, as each sought to overpower the other through a formidable sense of power. The resulting consequence was losses on both the winning and losing sides, leading many nations to pause before rushing into a fight. The aftermath of the war saw growing competition between USA and USSR, and the race between the two to become a global superpower. This led to rising conflicts as ideologies clashed, but because weapons were never raised, it has come to be referred to as the Cold War.
