The most important part is the understanding and recognizing immigrants. Understanding that all the different countries and economic statuses. Knowing their legal statuses and separations with family. Problem areas with immigrants work in a low-income and unskilled positions in America. The hostility and prejudice they ender by American citizens. Immigrants are faced with many violating rights. Some included being victimized and receive threats by American citizens in all areas of daily life. Being unqualified in federal benefit programs and work safety. It’s important to provide advocacy services for immigrants on where they reside and more educated on the barriers they face. This helps bring awareness to immigrations systems to policy and procedure changes. Social workers can better help and sympathize in their situations.
