Describe a  cognitive or social theory  that you believe explains the development of the participant's social change identity. The Social Cognitive Theory by Albert Bandura incorporates the self-efficacy theory, which elucidates how individuals form identities for social change. Self-efficacy denotes an individual's belief in their capacity to organize and execute acts that yield desirable outcomes (Domenech-Betoret et al., 2017). By serving as a foundation for motivation, well-being, and personal accomplishments linked with one's perception of themselves, persevering toward favorable changes can be achieved. Lopez-Garrido (2023) specifies four types of experiences: mastery episodes, vicarious encounters, emotional states, and societal influence—perceived as essential during the Paul LeBlanc SNHU video presentation on YouTube (2021) to manufacture unique socially conscious traits driving us towards promoting ethical behavior conducive to positive transformations within our society. Describe how you can apply the  psychological knowledge  that you have acquired within your BA Psychology program experience to effect positive social change. Through my bachelor's degree in psychology, I have developed a profound comprehension of human behavior, cognizance, and emotions. This knowledge allows me to utilize psychological concepts in diverse ways to promote constructive social transformation. For instance, by drawing upon my understanding of social psychology principles, I can devise initiatives that encourage inclusivity, impartiality, and empathy within communities. Additionally, having learned counseling techniques throughout my studies enables me to extend support as well as guidance towards mental health issues or traumas experienced by individuals. Moreover, relying on the research methodology acquired from the program, I'm capable of contributing
evidence-based resolutions and policies intended to refine collective wellbeing. Overall, the insights garnered from psychology empower both personal and societal progressions positively.
