Describe which  theory of personal change  you believe is most applicable to the development of the interview participant's social change identity. In my opinion, the self-concordance theory is highly relevant to Jodi's social change and identity formation. When questioned about her most empowering skill set, Jodi expressed that she takes pride in uplifting others by encouraging them to embrace their true selves and leverage this authenticity as a catalyst for promoting positive changes across society (SNHU Media, 2021). Key ingredients of the character traits associated with self- concordance include genuineness, steadfastness, and an unyielding commitment to discovering truth. In accordance with the tenets of this concept, individuals tend to pursue goals that align closely with their personal interests and beliefs rather than simply adhering mindlessly or blindly to orders from outside sources that other people stress upon them (Sheldon et al., 2004). I firmly believe that these aspects accurately encapsulate how Jodi has come into her own through cultivating a profound sense of purpose related strongly to working toward meaningful societal transformational initiatives. Describe why  authenticity  is so critical to a leader’s ability to effect positive social change. As someone in a position of leadership, it's natural for those around you to look up to you and seek guidance from you. In fact, individuals who find themselves in roles as esteemed leaders hold the power to inspire positive change within their community by influencing others through words and actions. Being entrusted with this immense responsibility only highlights how crucial it is for one so positioned to always embody authenticity, because doing so fosters meaningful connections among people that can ultimately pave the way toward uplifting outcomes on multiple fronts.
