Quiz Chapter 7: 9/10= 90%
Quiz Chapter 10: 9/10= 90%
The two key terms at the end of chapter 7 that I consider the most important are:
Cost baseline:
This term refers to a time-phased budget that project managers
use to measure and monitor cost performance.
Cost variance:
This term refers to the earned value minus the actual cost.
The two key terms at the end of chapter 10 that I consider the most important are:
Progress reports:
This term refers to reports that describe what the project
team has accomplished during a certain period of time.
Status reports:
This term refers to reports that describe where a project stands
at a specific point in time.
In the group project, there is communication among every member of the group.
Most of the communication goes from members with lower roles in the hierarchy to the
project manager and project assistant manager. Communication is necessary from
every team member because without everyone completing their tasks, the project will
not be successful.
Number of communication channels = n(n-1)/2
n= number of people in the group
n=6
Number of communication channels = 6(6-1)/2
= 6(5)/2
= 30/2
= 15
Therefore, there are 15 communication channels among the 6 people in the
group. Increasing the number of people in the group will also increase the number of
communication channels, and decreasing the number of people in the group will
decrease the number of communication channels.
