Week 4 Discussion A soft skill that I wish I had is my communication skills. I have a hard time talking to people, especially new people, or a group of people I just shut down and stutter a lot and I hate that a lot. Professional development opportunities that help [ improve soft skills you can do some virtual learning, do soft skills assessments to help professionals with communication, Professional development soft skill can make you a better employee because open communication ensure employee understand their part in the company, reduce conflict or tension at work, improves productivity improves direction for employees, and boosts employee job satisfaction. My plan is to remain knowledgeable in my chosen field of human and social services by reading articles, watching the news, speaking with other social workers, and checking my state and social work board.
