Ladies and gentlemen, Where we grow up often dictates our values, traditions, tastes, and sense of identity. Today, I’d like to share my experience of growing up in Wesley Chapel, Florida. As someone who was raised all around the Tampa Bay area but primarily in Wesley Chapel, I can attest to the unique characteristics of this town. There is a great sense of community despite being such a large and fast-growing town. According to Kendall Bonner of Kendall Bonner Real Estate Team, in an article written June 2023 “Wesley Chapel is one of the nation’s fastest- growing communities”. We hold an annual event called the Wesley Chapel Fall Festival, this year will mark the 19 th annual Fall Festival. The festival is a testament to the sense of community. The festival offers thrilling rides, tantalizing local cuisine, and an atmosphere that encapsulates the spirit of Wesley Chapel. Yet, it extends beyond mere entertainment. It serves as a focal point for us to reunite with old acquaintances, cultivate new friendships, and pay homage to our town's rich history. It's a moment when different generations converge, sharing stories, forging memories, and fortifying the connections that define us. So, if you ever find yourself in Wesley Chapel, Florida, during the fall, I recommend you experience the Fall Festival. It's not just an event; it's a reflection of the friendly spirit that makes Wesley Chapel a place that one can call home. Thank you.
