Calculation:
Range:
Range is the difference between greatest and smallest value.
Hence, the range is 55
Inter quartile range:
Find the upper quartile and lower quartile.
Here median is 67.
Divide the data into two halves.
Median of lower half is
Median of upper half is
Inter quartile range is
Hence, the inter quartile range is 32
Outlier
Data that are more than 1.5 times the value of the interquartile range beyond the quartiles is called outlier.Here inter quartile range is 32 .
Now subtract 48 from the lower quartile and add to upper quartile.
Thus the data which is not in the range of -1 to 127 is outlier.
