Concept Introduction:

Hydroboration: An organic reaction in which the double bonds of the alkenes or alkynes are broken by BH3. In this reaction, the multiple carbon–carbon bond are replaced by the boron group.

When BH3 is added to alkenes, they undergo hydroboration.

Enantiomers: Two molecules which are mirror images of each other and are non-superimposable.
