Question
Chapter 7, Problem 1CQ
Summary Introduction
To determine: The purpose of the electron transport chain.
Introduction: Electron transport chain is named so because it involves a series of reactions in which electrons flow through several electron acceptors or mediators in the mitochondrial membrane. The mediators are several complexes which are Complex I, Complex II, Complex III, Complex IV and Complex V, which is an ATP synthase molecule.
