Subject to the constraints,

Consider that,

Maximize,

z=z'+z''

As given in the problem,

z=|2x1-3x2|

So, 2x1-3x2=z'-z'', all the variables are non-negative.

First, note that in any basic feasible solution, the variables both z' and z'' cannot be positive
