Explanation of Solution

Now, we have to create a residual plot for the dash time in seconds and the long-jump distance in inches. To create it we will use the calculator i.e. $\text{Ti83/84-}$ calculator. Now, firstly press on $2nd>Y=$ and press on ENTER to go to plot $1$ . Then make sure that On is selected and the first type of graph is selected. Enter $L_1$ after Xlist and enter RESID after Ylist.
