Because every molecule of carbohydrate has five carbons, and every those phosphate has three carbons. Three molecules of saccharine (15 C total), during this method, five nucleotide area unit consumed, one for every simple sugar phosphate shaped. The five freshly shaped monosaccharide phosphates are then metabolized into five pyruvates, producing five NADH and ten nucleotides within the method. The five NADH created may be regenerate to fifteen nucleotide within the lepton transport chain. This produces a complete of twenty five nucleotides at this step.
