Introduction:

Living organisms usually have an internal metabolic system that is responsible for the synthesis of an energy rich molecule (mainly ATP) for starting various biological processes. However, there are some reactions that require external forces for starting the process of internal reactions.

When protocells first developed, they had a membrane that permitted only some substances to pass through. They can pass on genetic information that they store in the form of plasmids and have a large amount of an aqueous solution called cytoplasm.
