Introduction:
Waves propagating in the concentric circles travels with the same speed.
In the figure below, a stone is dropped in the quite water generating water waves. Here, waves are produced similarly as the concentric circles look in the 2-dimensional figure showing crest and trough on the surface of the water. Each wave travels at the same speed, no matter how far it is from the point of origin.
Conclusion: Thus, when a stone is dropped in the water then waves move in a similar pattern at the same speed.
