Introduction:
Fats are considered as the most concentrated source of energy in the body. The amount of energy released by the catabolism of the fat is approximately twice, compare to glucose or protein catabolism. The products of fat digestion are transported through the lymph in the form of chylomicrons (fatty-protein droplet). Among the various lipids, triglycerides are the molecules which are oxidized for the release of energy.
