Summary Introduction
The microbial mat contains various layers, each of which is influence by a certain types of microorganisms predominantly bacteria. The microbial mats grow at the organization between various types of material, mostly on moist or submerged surfaces but a small number survive in the deserts. The microbial mats are colonize the environment varying in temperature from -40° C to 120° C.
