The differences between the adult body tissues stem cells and early embryonic stem cells (ESCs).
Introduction:
Stem cells are rapidly dividing undifferentiated cells that with the course of time are differentiated into diverse cell types. In adult animals, the stem cells are not totipotent, that is, they do not differentiate in diverse cells. These cells in adults are terminally differentiated as their fate is already determined and their ability to differentiate is limited. Alternatively, these are called multipotent stem cells.
