Summary Introduction
Summary:
Ventricular systole brings the contraction of ventricle chambers and ejects the blood out of the ventricles through the aorta and pulmonary veins. However, both the ventricles won’t expel blood out at the same time, but with little time delay of one another. The left ventricle contracts first, but the right ventricle expels blood prior to the left ventricle. This obvious fact is a simple phenomenon to overcome the afterload in the pulmonary trunk.
