The bone marrow is a spongy tissue which is present in all skeletal bones. There are two types of bone marrow namely- the red bone marrow and the yellow bone marrow. By adulthood or by the age of 18, the limited bones of the human body possess the red marrow as it is replaced by the yellow bone marrow.
