A special fluid connective tissue called the blood is present in the human body which serves various purposes such as transport of gases as well as nutrients. Different types of cells are found in the blood that include erythrocytes and leukocytes. The examples of leukocytes are neutrophils, basophils, eosinophils, and lymphocytes. Â
