Introduction:

Amino groups are used for the synthesis of amino acids or other compounds, but if this is not the case, then it is important to excrete it out of the body in order to reduce the toxicity. In most of the terrestrial animals (ureotelic), it is excreted as urea via a sequence of reactions, which is known as the urea cycle.
