Answer to Problem 24HP
Independent event,
Dependent event,
Explanation of Solution
Given information :
Conditional probability for dependent and independents events.
Conditional probability for independent event. Let take an example rolling a dice and tossing a coin occurring at the same time.
Where as for dependent events, example, from a pack of 52 cards, a card is drawn randomly what is the probability of getting a red card given that drawn card was black and was not replaced into the deck.
Independent event : Let A and B are two independent events, then
Dependent event : Let event B is the probability that mean event A has already occurred, given by P(B/A).
