Explanation of Solution
Expert System:
- A work performed by a human expert and the same task is performed by a computer application is known as expert systems.
- The expert system is a knowledge-based system that models the professionals in that particular field.
- It is a successful form of
artificial intelligence software.
Working of expert system:
Expert system works based on the set of rules implemented in the software. These rules are acquired from the knowledge of the skilled that can be used by organization. It takes the data which has been given to them then it applies the system rules in order to suggest solutions for the given problem.
Role played by expert system in business:
Expert system is one of the most common forms of AI in the business arena because they are capable of filling the gap which is not possible for the human experts. The reason is human expert’s finds more difficult in discovering and retaining the solutions which is also too expensive.
Neural network:
- Neural network is also called as artificial neural network where the AI attempts to imitate the way human brain works.
- Electronic model that performs tasks like the neural structure of a human brain is artificial neural network.
- Artificial neural network is comparable in certain aspects to a biological neural network.
Working of neural network:
It works based on the structure and functions of human brain. They tend to determine the patterns and relationships in massive amounts of data which is very complicate to understand by the human.
Role played by neural network in business:
Neural network are used in financial industry to discern patterns in enormous amount of data which might help to predict the performance of bond ratings in corporate, bankruptcies in corporate.
Case-based reasoning (CBR):
Case based reasoning captures and stores the organization knowledge. The past experience of the human are represented in the form of cases and stored literally in a
Case-based reasoning differs from expert system:
- Case based reasoning differs from expert system in that it collects the organization’s knowledge whereas the expert system gathers the knowledge rom single expert.
- The knowledge is captured in the form of cases in CBR whereas expert system uses the if-then rules.
- CBR represent the knowledge in the series of cases where as the expert system represent the knowledge in the form of the IF-THEN-ELSE rules...

Check out a sample textbook solution- Add a timer in the following code. public class GameGUI extends JPanel { private final Labyrinth labyrinth; private final Player player; private final Dragon dragon; private Timer timer; private long elapsedTime; public GameGUI(Labyrinth labyrinth, Player player, Dragon dragon) { this.labyrinth = labyrinth; this.player = player; this.dragon = dragon; String playerName = JOptionPane.showInputDialog("Enter your name:"); player.setName(playerName); elapsedTime = 0; timer = new Timer(1000, e -> { elapsedTime++; repaint(); }); timer.start(); } @Override protected void paintComponent(Graphics g) { super.paintComponent(g); int cellSize = Math.min(getWidth() / labyrinth.getSize(), getHeight() / labyrinth.getSize());}arrow_forwardChange the following code so that when player wins the game, the game continues by creating new GameGUI with the same player. However the player's starting position is same, everything else should be reseted. public static void main(String[] args) { Labyrinth labyrinth = new Labyrinth(10); Player player = new Player(9, 0); Random rand = new Random(); Dragon dragon = new Dragon(rand.nextInt(10), 9); JFrame frame = new JFrame("Labyrinth Game"); GameGUI gui = new GameGUI(labyrinth, player, dragon); frame.setLayout(new BorderLayout()); frame.setSize(600, 600); frame.setDefaultCloseOperation(JFrame.EXIT_ON_CLOSE); frame.add(gui, BorderLayout.CENTER); frame.pack(); frame.setResizable(false); frame.setVisible(true); } public class GameGUI extends JPanel { private final Labyrinth labyrinth; private final Player player; private final Dragon dragon; private Timer timer; private long…arrow_forwardCreate a menu item which restarts the game. Also add a timer, which counts the elapsed time since the start of the game level. When the restart is pressed, the restarted game should ask the player' name (in the GameGUI constructor) and set the score of player to 0 (player.setScore(0)), and the timer should restart again. And create a logic so that if the player loses his life (checkGame if the condition is false), then save this number together with his name into two variables. And display two buttons where one quits the game altogether (System.exit(0)) and the other restarts the game. public class GameGUI extends JPanel { private final Labyrinth labyrinth; private final Player player; private final Dragon dragon; private final ImageIcon playerIcon = new ImageIcon("data/images/player.png"); private final ImageIcon dragonIcon = new ImageIcon("data/images/dragon.png"); private final ImageIcon wallIcon = new ImageIcon("data/images/wall.png"); private final ImageIcon…arrow_forward
