1 Potential Research Topic: Suicide Rates in Veterans Elizabeth Lane Master of Social Work, Walden University SOCW-6301: Social Work Practice Research I Dr. Peter Ronald Fawson September 04, 2023
2 Potential Research Topic: Suicide Rates in Veterans For my research topic, I have been curious about learning of the suicide rates in veterans. While working in healthcare and having many relatives in the military, I have come across many veterans who suffer from mental health issues due to their time in the service. While some of these individuals have obtained help with their issues, there were some who lost the internal battle they were struggling with. I want to be able to understand these individuals better and provide them with resources they can utilize during their time of struggle. By wanting to educate myself more, I have listed three of my peer-reviewed research articles below, that relate to my topic.
