How can you apply something that you learned in the games this week to your
life as a college student? (1 point)
One thing that I learned from playing the 3,6,9 game in class is the pattern or
method of the game. I can use the game as part of my life as a college student
through the process of learning. I can use the game that we played in class on
Tuesday which is the 3,6,9 game in my life as a college student by learning the
aspect and the importance of numbers in the everyday life. As a college student, I can use what I learned
in my daily life as it can oftentimes be used to count by skipping numbers like 3,6, and 9. This can
be important in a college math class when you have to count and calculate numbers.

How can you apply something that you learned in the games this week to your
spiritual life? What scripture, passage of scripture, or Bible character represents
this lesson? (1 point)
I can apply the 3,6,9 game to my spiritual life as I would use the numbers in the Bible to help someone
find a certain verse or a particular book of the Bible by looking up the page of whatever the chapter is on.
Like it was mentioned in class, there are different ways of how numbers is used in our spiritual life.
For example, some parts of the Bible that includes,involves or uses numbers is the 10 commandments,
the 12 disciples, 7 churches in revelations, the fourth book of the Bible, 40 days and 40 nights from
Noah’s ark, 7 days of creation and the 3 parts of the trinity. A Bible character that relates to numbers
is Moses who is associated with the number 40 several times. Moses was 40 years old when he
was exiled from Egypt, he returned 40 years later to lead the Hebrews out of capacity, spent 40 days
atop Mount Sinai, spent 40 years with the Hebrews wandering in the desert and so forth. In the Bible,
It mentions that the flood narrative was constructed in order to include the usage of commonly used
such as the number 7 and 40. These numbers are repeated in occurring events in seven days like in
Genesis 7:4,10, 8:10, and 12 and seven pairs of clean animals like in Genesis 7:2-3. The floodwaters
are said to have come for 40 days and 40 nights.
Throughout my spiritual life with the time that I spend reading my Bible, I can use what I learned
with playing the 3,6,9 game. One thing that I learned when playing this particular game is the importance
of numbers in the Bible and also how they are used in the Bible. Playing a game that involves numbers
can be incorporated in a persons spiritual life including my own spirtual life. The 3,6,9 game can also
remind us that there are numbers used in the Bible which can be important. The numbers in the Bible
are represent something within the Bible or a specific Bible character. Something that I learned with
playing the 3,6,9 game is how the game is played, the importance of the game, and why the numbers in
the Bible are important.

Do you feel confident that you could lead this game? Why or Why not? (1 point)
If someone asked me if I could lead the 3,6,9 game that we played in class I would confidently
say that I could lead the game whether it was played in class or outside of class. I could lead the
3,6,9 game that we played in class especially since I have experienced how the game is played as
well as participating in the game. As a childcare worker at my church, I feel that I can most
definitely lead the 3,6,9 game as well as any other games to the kids that I work with, the people
on my hall and my friends.

Do you feel confident that you could lead the “processing” of this game? Why or
Why not? (1 point)
When I was participating in the 3,6,9 game the processing part of how the game was being
played was confusing during the first two rounds as I didn’t really understand the point of the
game. I feel like I would definitely be good at leading the processing of the game after watching
how the game is being played. With my learning and creative thinking skills I can lead the
processing of any game like the 3,6,9 game as I am a fast learner and I can learn things quickly.
When I helped with vacation Bible school, the theme was called game changer and one of the
games that we played was a sports game. After reading the instructions for how each game is
going to be played, I was easily able to lead the processing game with the other leader that I
worked with. After teaching the game to the kids they were able to understand the process of the
game once I explained it to them and showed them how it was being played. At first, it was hard
to understand the rules and the process of the 3,6,9 game as one person in the group would clap
and another person in the group would say a number instead of clapping.
