Because Giving God a gender introduces division into the trinity. I think it makes perfect sense to keep God genderless.
6.
What are some ways the doctrine and practice of spirituality goes wrong, and how can Christian pneumatology offer a corrective?
With the idea that our bodies are bad, when they are good buy are just under the condition off sin. Another way that it goes wrong is with the idea that bodies are completely separate from soul, and to be spiritual means to be completely out of body. Pneumatology offers a corrective with the Holy Spirit transforming us and leading our lives in the right direction.
7.
Reflect on what Jones writes about bodies, the importance of embodiment for Christian spirituality. What are your thoughts on this?
Jones explains that embodiment in itself isn’t the problem but that us being sinful in a sinful world is the problem. I think that it is important that we understand that it is not our bodies that are bad because we
were created in the image of God, but our sinful nature is what makes everything bad.

How does pneumatological love challenge practices of sexism, racism, and elitism?
It challenges it by uniting all peple no matter sex, race, or social statis, through the love of the Holy Spirit.
