We must first understand who we are and whether we are prepared to live in a humble acceptance of God's calling to fully understand the vocation that God has placed on our lives.
God gave us the ability to care for, love, respect, honor, and make our own choices since He made us in His likeness. It is essential to have an accurate understanding of one's talents and
skills, as each person has a distinct calling. It is possible for us to have a better understanding
of our talents and abilities by studying, praying, and understanding the Scriptures.
Based on the teachings of Jesus Christ, a worldview refers to a certain style of living. It means being either in alignment with the Lord due to our faith in Christ and His teachings or separated from Him because of our sins. Paul urges integrity in Romans 12:1-2
(Holy Bible, New International Version, 1973/2011),
calling for a renewed mind rather than a worldly mindset. He encourages his readers to live godly, in accordance with God's will. (Smith, 2011,
p. 53)
This connection helps us be resilient and persevere despite probable setback. By acquiring an extensive understanding of the biblical worldview, we increase our ability to fully understand the intended purpose and sacred vocation that God intends for each of us. To grow in our understanding of the Bible, it is essential that we consistently familiarize ourselves with and study the Word of God.
By embracing a biblical worldview, we are better able to appreciate the bigger picture of God's design and to understand how it might be applied to our personal vocation. By gaining an awareness of how a Christian worldview can impact the way in which we live these invitations, we are able to help those who are in need. It is through the study of His Word that we can discover how God is going to use our talents to be of service and kindness to other people. I am not able to reflect my calling at this time in my life. My calling, mission, and purpose are undiscovered. My identity is rather clear. He is speaking to me through these classes, especially this one and it is a great deal to take in. God highlights and brings revelation often through music. I feel drawn to worship, and have felt a calling to play, sing and write music. I know that getting right with God at my age is challenging because I've left so much behind, and many vocations have passed. Perhaps that's where we transition. Although for me it’s been dark and silent, I doubt I'd be in class without God and my bible. I am hopeful, and my calling for this time is school. To complete this degree with a high GPA. I believe I can only do that through Him, Him through me.
