The Lord wants us to relate to Him during the book of Deuteronomy using scripture through Moses such as “And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to keep the commandments and statutes of the Lord, which I am commanding you today for your good?” ( English Standard Version Bible , 2016, Deuteronomy 10:12-13). The Lord wants us to relate to Him through serving him with all our might, through displaying our love for Him, through walking by His image, and through fearing His almighty power. Without believing in the Lord and Jesus Christ and living by His example, we cannot fully relate to Him and the love He exhibited for us with the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
