WEEK 2: CHRISTIAN APPLICATION PAPER Abstract This Christian Application Paper explores the impact of social media on Christian ministry, focusing on its potential for digital outreach. As communication technologies evolve, churches and ministries have recognized the need to adapt. This study investigates the role of social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and Instagram in spreading the Christian message and engaging with a diverse online audience. The research questions addressed in this paper include: How do churches and ministries utilize social media for evangelism and community building? What challenges and opportunities do they encounter in the digital realm? The study examines the methods employed, participant engagement, and the results of these efforts. Through an analysis of existing literature, this paper provides insights into the effectiveness of various social media strategies for Christian ministry. It discusses the implications of these findings for churches, pastors, and Christian leaders. Additionally, this study presents recommendations for future research in this domain, emphasizing the importance of adapting to contemporary electronic communication technologies while staying rooted in Christian principles.
