Research Concepts Matrix Please note that the first row of data is meant as an example. Please read the example article (Zhang et al., 2023) as a guide for how to dissect each article assigned. Keep in Mind: 1). This is not merely an assignment for you to find information in an article and copy and paste information into the columns in the below matrix. Read and analyze the authors’ work in each article and evaluate it based on the assigned readings for this course and then offer your evaluation of what you read. You are to offer the content in to reflect that you are an informed consumer of research. 2). There is much variation in published primary research articles and reports. Not all authors will include all the same information, verbatim or at all, based on the headings in the columns below. If that is the case, you will need to offer your own analysis of what the information should be in a logical manner aligned to the other information in the source that is provided. There should be no blank cells in the below matrix. 3). Communicate your input in a manner that is completely scholarly, professional, and consistent with the expectations for members of an identified field of study, using APA style and formatting, with few or no errors and include a formal APA style reference list. Through gaining insights into conference- based learning, researchers and policymakers can create more complex and dynamic graduate student learning experiences and where they can seek jobs, and have professionals’ connections. As COVID- 19 hit, however, there is so study to see how current graduate students deal with the online-aspect of this connection, and how much knowledge and experiences were lost, with everything being virtual. The research is looking at how, in general, graduate student learn at these conferences/connections , and how it helps them within their knowledge of their profession with the graduate students (participants), which could heavily influence their interview responses. The second limitation to this study was the stipend given for conference attendance, which could heavily influence the student’s participation of the study, researchers and interviewees, several steps were taken to promote transparency and ensure ethical data collection. To mitigate the influence of pre-existing power differentials between researchers and interviewees, interviewees were allowed to select their interviewer and mode (i.e. in adult learning to the conference experience. One area for additional exploration is connected to Daloz’s work (1999) on mentoring to guide adult transformative learning. Other research (Hyland and Kranzow, 2012; Turner, 2015) showed that mentoring had enormous potential to strengthen conference-based, cohort-model learning. In our study, interviewees had several opportunities that resembled mentorship, 2

However, the extent to which these interactions shaped the interviewees’ learning is not fully understood or explored in this study. This is an area where additional research is needed and shows enormous potential, especially for virtual or hybrid conferences. By pairing graduate students (alone or in cohorts) with a mentor to help explain networks 3

Without this added support, graduate students may miss opportunities to examine and observe current issues, culture and representation in each field or not be able to effectively engage in learning opportunities. Conference organizers might also be interested in exploring ways to 4

Lund et al., 2022 By amplifying the success stories of graduate students with disabilities, we can help to ensure that students are taught by a diverse professoriate and that the lived experience of disability is heard in psychology teaching and scholarship ( Andrews et al., 2019 ). Rich and rigorous Psychology graduate students with disabilities have been a minority in the field. They face discriminatory and prejudiced behaviors from their peers and faculties, unable to obtain accommodations, and face a lot of stigma and isolation. With all the sample for this study was exclusively female and a majority of participants identified as white. Replicating this study with a more diverse sample is warranted, especially in terms of exploring the experiences of multiply marginalized disabled graduate student teachers ( Lund et al., 2022 ) and the ways in which disability his study was not officially preregistered, but all study recruitment and analysis procedures were outlined before the study in our grant application to the funder, and the grant application and final report to limitation could be addressed in future research via studies that compare the teaching experiences of psychology graduate students with and without disabilities. Additionally, many of the experiences of participants may not be specific to psychology but rather broader manifestations of academic ableism. In this study, we focused 5

Thus, it is critical that psychology graduate programs and faculty support graduate students with disabilities in gaining high-quality teaching experience that allows them to develop the teaching of this, there has been an increase of dropout rates, suggesting a lack of accessibilities to these students, in which researchers want to know the experiences and how to suppose these students, interacts with other aspects of identity, such as masculinity ( Lund et al., 2015 ). The results from this study could be used to help develop a larger quantitative study of psychology graduate student teachers with disabilities to obtain a larger, more diverse sample. This would also allow us to examine differences between certain subgroups of participants (e.g., students with invisible/nonapparent disabilities versus those with visible/nonapparent disabilities) more systematically. Participants in this study reported experiences related to funder are both available on request from the first author. Because of concerns regarding participant confidentiality (please see discussion above), data from this study are not publicly available; however, the authors are willing to share relevant portions of de-identified transcripts or coding files privately upon request; specifically on psychology students due to our own professional interests and experiences and the existing research on the experiences of psychology trainees with disabilities. Researchers may find it helpful to compare the teaching experiences of disabled graduate students across fields to discern similarities and differences. Finally, participants in our study reported engaging in both online and face-to-face teaching experiences, both before and in the initial stages of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. Researchers may wish to examine the ways in which the COVID-19 pandemic and its effects on both online and in- 6

Tu et al., 2021 As it is noticed that several studies explored the role of students’ EO in driving their intention toward entrepreneurial actions in different contexts [24,25,26,27]. However, The authors have noticed that several researchers have adopted entrepreneurial orientation (EO, to determine students’ intention toward entrepreneurship. In addition, the effect of some EO dimensions namely risk- taking, innovativeness, proactiveness on individual entrepreneurial intention even though have toward social. In this researcher, the authors want to examine the influence of the dimensions of social entrepreneurial orientation (SEO): social vision, social proactiveness, innovativeness, and risk-taking motive on graduate students’ entrepreneurial intention towards an entrepreneurship- based business start-up. intention to start a social entrepreneurial- based venture. This result implies a significant implication for the educationist, facilitators, and donors in higher educational institutions, to promote and enhance their students’ social entrepreneurship. 2: students’ innovativeness has been found to be an antecedent of their social entrepreneurship attitudes and social entrepreneurial given to the respondents. Moreover, Satar and Natasha [30] developed and revised scales on the four dimensions of an individual’s intention to social- based start-up; therefore, entrepreneurship- focused academicians could leverage the findings to formulate social entrepreneurship- based pedagogy in their curriculum for the graduate students. 3: risk is part of any entrepreneurship- based; it is more likely to be higher with social entrepreneurship due to its non- profit nature. Likewise, Sulphey and Salim [31] also conceptually developed and validated the scale on social entrepreneurial orientation (SEO) components including social vision, risk- taking, and social pro-activeness as a predictor of an individual’s attitude and behavior toward students’ risk- taking motive as another strong influential factor of their social entrepreneurial attitude development and behavioral intention to social entrepreneurship- based venture. 10

As the studies of Satar and Natasha [30], and Sulphey and Salim [31] developed and validated the measure scales on SEO conceptually, and replaced EO by SEO in social entrepreneurship context; they, moreover, recommended future research to empirically examine and robustly evaluate the reliability and validity of the instrument using student samples 11

Considering the amount of work and effort graduate students put into achieving their goals, it is imperative to In this study, Graduate student parents are a subpopulation in higher education that accounts for a large proportion in the higher education field Despite the urgent needs to support these parents, there has been little attention paid on how parental status, major, and gender affect graduate students influence of parental status, major, and gender on motivation, There are some major limitations in this study: 1: the term motivation can be defined and be measured in many ways using different theoretical frameworks.
