Running head: SOCIAL THINKING IN CONTEXT 1 Social Influence in Context Social norms are what we consider the laws of our society or culture. This shapes how we respond outside of our group dynamic. According to Aronson’s text, normative influence is where a person conforms to fit in the group because they do not want to feel left out (Aronson & Aronson, 2018. The social impact in the movie A Walk to Remember is when Landon changes his bad boy persona after he fell for Jamie. Landon started falling for Jamie the more they spent time together.
