Part 2: Reflection On day four, review your completed time monitoring log in order to take a serious look at
how you use your time each day. Write a 250 – 500 word reflection below on how you manage your time. Include the following in your reflection: What are some things you can do more efficiently? What are the main items/tasks that take up most of your time? Do you see areas in your daily routine where you can make adjustments to become more productive? Do you have any “black holes” that unnecessarily suck up a lot of your time? Reflection: After looking over my schedule, I must admit there is nothing I can do to be more effective. I can see that I am effective in my prayer, bible reading time, my confession time. This is because I am driving when I am either making my confessions or listening to scriptures. It does not take much effort. To be honest I feel overwhelmed by my current schedule. As you can see, work is taking over my life. I cannot effectively do Foster Care and pursue my master's degree. Wednesday, I came home and was too tired to even cook me something to eat even though I was hungry. I did not even have the mental capability to even look at schoolwork let alone try to complete an assignment. According to the chart there may be two areas that may need attention. One is work and the other is God. However, I will not push God to number three or four on my list. He remains number one at all costs, but something must be given. The area that could be adjusted would be my work life. I will need to find employment that is less demanding and will allow me to live and pay for school. Everything currently feels like a black hole. I cannot distinguish if it is just because this is a new challenge or if I am simply overwhelmed with all the responsibility. Foster Care case management is very draining...mentally. One thing I know is that I need to fast and pray for guidance and help.
