Aristotle believed that knowledge comes from experience and common sense, and this method of acquiring knowledge based on observation and practice is the scientific research method we commonly use today. Aristotle subverted Plato's understanding of the world's perfection and proposed a scientific method of acquiring knowledge. This was Aristotle's greatest contribution to human science, so we call him a great scientist. In addition, in logic, Aristotle founded the important sub-discipline of formal logic. He proposed a syllogistic formal logic, which was later developed into the classic deduction method. For example, the famous syllogism reasoning: the major premise is: everyone will die. The minor premise is: Socrates is a human being. So the conclusion is: Socrates will die too. This logical reasoning method, which is based on universal laws and deduces individual conclusions, played a crucial role in the subsequent development of science. For example, later the ancient Greek mathematician Euclid, the famous father of geometry, applied this reasoning idea to the study of geometry. Euclid was the first person to use Aristotle's syllogism deduction method to construct a knowledge system and scientific research and development methods. His geometry was a rigorous deduction system, derived from several axioms. Come up with various theorems, and then use these theorems to solve practical problems. But compared to physics, biology and logic, Aristotle's truly great contribution was the creation of philosophy.
