You may think, why do we need to learn from such a person who is full of fallacies? The answer is not whether the conclusions he reached were correct, but the way he thought is his legacy. Philosophy is known as the brightest pearl in the crown of human wisdom, and Aristotle created the discipline of "philosophy". Therefore, if you want to understand philosophy, especially Western philosophy, Aristotle must not be able to jump over it. . Before systematically introducing Aristotle's thoughts, as usual, we first have a brief understanding of Aristotle's life. Aristotle was born in the Greek colony of Thrace in 384 BC. His father was the court physician of the King of Macedon at that time. His family was in good circumstances, at least he was middle class at the time. Aristotle became a disciple of Plato at the age of 17 and studied for 20 years. In Plato's Academy, Aristotle was known as the "Spirit of the Academy" because of his outstanding performance. He did not leave until Plato's death. . Because of the influence of Plato, Aristotle became very interested in philosophy. At the same time, influenced by his father, Aristotle also liked to study biology and other natural sciences. Two years after Plato's death, Aristotle still stayed in Athens because the new head of Plato's Academy at that time was more in favor of the mathematical tendency in Plato's philosophy. This disgusted Aristotle and he began to travel around the world. . But some people say that it was because after Plato's death, Aristotle did not pass the position of head of the academy to Aristotle, which caused him to run away. In 343 AD, the 42-year-old Aristotle was hired by King Philip II of Macedonia to serve as Alexander's teacher. Under the influence of Aristotle, Alexander respected and admired knowledge and science.
